Binding a new receiver to my X18

After some 75mhz receiver issues with my little Delfin at Subfest, I picked up another TDr6 for it but am unable to bind it. Looked over the YouTube videos but that version has more features pertaining to register receiver. I only have the registration ID at the top but see no register receiver in the version I am running. Can someone explain how to bind the receiver for me? Attached is an image of the rc page. I’d prefer not to upgrade firmware if it’s going to mess with my Lotus programming.

      Step-by-Step Instructions:
      1. Set the internal module's State to ON.
      2. With the receiver powered OFF, tap Register on your screen.
      3. While holding the bind button on the receiver, power it ON. The radio should acknowledge the receiver.
      4. Press Bind on the radio.
      5. Cycle the power on the receiver to complete the binding process.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
