Can the FrSky X14 be used with TD R10?

I can't get the X14 to register with the TD R10, in RF system there is no TD Mode listed in Protocol. Is this normal or did I miss something, I did the updates as described by FrSky? It appears the X14 is described as Twin and not Duel. Thanks, Ed

Actually - I found a great review on U-Tube and no not compatible. Any recommendations for a receiver?

I went with the FrSky X18, worth the extra $$ - comes with a nice carry case and is dual band. I haven't touched RC gear in over 10 years, the FrSky is easy to learn and adapt to.

Just a few comments about Frsky. I own an X18S Tx and just updated the firmware to 1.6.4 with no problems. However, my attempts to update the firmware for an older R6 SX Receiver failed. I got a message that the latest firmware version was “incompatible”. Needless to say, I left it alone and it seems to be working fine. The R6 SX has gotten a lot of bad reviews on Amazon lately and it does not appear as a product on the Frsky USA website.
The RC hardware Industry seems to be in a constant state of change and it is hard for me to keep up. I just ordered a TD SR6 through Amazon since it sold out on Frsky-rc.com. It is the dual 900MHz – 2.4GHz receiver with stability control. I hope it is not discontinued in the near future.
