Good news everybody!
At least for those operating with Bob's new line of Transmitters. May work for other Brands, but I can't comment, nor do I care.
You're at the pond, doing precheck's (you DO do those, right?), only to discover your TX Battery is low. Or perhaps it's your third day at Cohutta and you forgot to charge your TX the night before. Sigh...low TX Battery. Fear not, FrSky actually recommend instead of swapping batteries, do this:
FrSky ETHOS Charge while Flying \ Normal Operation and Spare Battery Caution
Unplugging and replugging the battery from the ETHOS radio systems can be a bit of a risk of accidentally reversing or breaking off the connector.
You can use a cellphone battery bank to charge the radio while it can still operate normally.
Here is the Amazon link to the Powerpack shown: You may have your own. This is useful to have for your Mobile anyway
