      That is a builders yard sea trials photo, taken from a helo. Only time US units carry orange painted messenger buoys and DSRV landing markings at the escape hatches. Both get painted over immediately after delivery to the USN. Appears to be a 637 class, maybe one of the sub-classes like Glennard P. Lipscombe, but definitely NOT Narwhal.
