Hi, can anyone Id this WTC. It looks like the two motors run the pistons in the dive tanks. But I can’t work out how one would control them or how a propeller motor would fit in to this design. Anyone know. Thanks
Odd WTC

Earlier R&R piston tank WTC. Ron no longer makes them, but he should still be able to give you some tips on how to set it up. -
Thanks chaps. Ron no longer as a present here in the U.K. but there was a separate cylinder with a motor in it. Odd arrangement for sure.Comment

Since when has Ron packed it in?. His website has been offline for a while, but AFAIK he’s still producing products.Comment

He’s not packed it in completely, just for the home market here in the U.K. in fact we in the U.K. know longer have any manufacturers of rc submarines or bits, Germany or Poland is now the nearest to us here.Comment

A strange choice not to supply your home market, especially when you have little to no other competition. I’m a little out of the loop since handing over the Dive-in Facebook group to Rob Fowler.Comment

Ron sales only to Nautilus drydocks now. Not to the home market. Bad business, but maybe there was not the customer base. Things are now so very expensive in the U.K. now. People just don’t have any money for hobbies anymore.Last edited by Michael440; Yesterday, 04:43 AM.Comment

Something more to it than that, Ron must be crowding eighty, so perhaps he's looking to hand on the baton to someone who can offer him a deal for the rights to the business and the US presents a better opportunity than the UK for that. Things aren't that bad here in the UK IMO. Model subs have always been a small market, and will remain so.Comment

I know dons partner and it’s not age, he makes 10 units a week and they all go to the USA. As for the U.K., I have never known it so bad as now. In fact it’s a joke of a country. No industry, millions unemployed, nothing works correctly. Murders almost every day. And an armed forces that was once the best in the world now unable to send a working ship out, or man a fighting brigade. It’s not the country I loved and grew up in any more.Comment

If you know people that work with Ron, then they would be the best people to contact about setting this unit up.Comment

I work with Ron on a very regular basis and yes, I am his distributor for product with global distribution, though I do not understand that it's exclusive. Honestly, based on my communications with him, I think he was just tired of fielding the relentless inquiries from clueless and demanding people. Definitely not saying ALL people are that way, but it only takes one to make you think, "what the literal heck am I even doing this for?"
I support his product line to the best of my ability, particularly the current/new product. Not as familiar with the old stuff, but I think Ron is more apt to respond to me than the general public, so if anyone needs anything, just hit me up and I'll do my best.Comment
