Yea..JK and you wouldn't have had that goo with a north breeze-note 23/32s of the south side of the pond is clear.-by rough calculation!

Normally his pond has TWO filter fountains running, The black, plastic item you see floating is one of them. I guess COVID-19 is still messing with the NYC Parks Dept.

Yes, one shouldn't run an RC Sub without whimsical "Command" Head gear...Thank you for this one!! Had to rework it slightly to fit the melon.

Actually, all that goo was on the surface, it never really got inside the superstructure. Cleaned the hull with fresh water and wiped with only my hand. The innards received the usual f/w hose wash down.

Queens Fun Run 2020-07-19: Great summer day

Just some quick photo's of today's run of my 1:48 DeBoer USS SHARK and Ray Mason's 1:72 ALFA at Bowne's Park in Queens NY.

A great summer day enjoyed with authentic NYC Pizza. Despite the forecast, it was only 95°, with a nice breeze, wasn't at all uncomfortable!

Don't let the goo fool you. Surface only, and the breeze brought it to only about 10% of the lake. Running beneath it was no big deal, easily washed off after.

The best thing regarding RC Submarine ownership is that regardless of what happens between getting to the pond and leaving, is not going home with an empty boat stand.
