You would not steal a wallet so don't steal people's livelihood.
Think of that before your buy "cheap" pirated goods or download others work protected by copyright. Theft is theft.
I'm aiming to get the venue confirmed one way or the other by the end of Summer (late August early September), this is essential to get reasonable publicity in club journals etc.
Well you would certainly have won the prize for longest distance travelled!
Unless you came from Luton and went the long way round :)
Have a great day
Next time someone points out it takes 42 muscles to frown, point out it will only take 4 muscles to b1tch slap them if they tell you how mnay muscles you need to smile:pop

Videos and pictures still to come, I'll wait until the other two threads are done content wise then post up here. But it was a very good day, with a much better turnout than last year.
Andy,
by the way - there is now an events page on this forum that Mike kindly set up. Ideal for your run report when you have it.
BTW - what blew the hole in the side of the Typhoon?

The Typhoon damage was caused by one of Dave Wrights torpedoes fitted to his Seehund.
These are 1/12th scale and radio controlled (throttle only), and although they have no warheads, they are tipped with a silicone bronze detonator. A baseball bat sized fish weighing several pounds hurtling along at about 10mph with a metal tip is likely to inflict a bit of damage, eh?
Unfortunately for Ramesh, it hit a vulnerable area, he had thinned out the walls of the hull around the grating area to get a more scale look, but this weakened that part of hull and so it caved in.
Made quite a loud 'crack' when the collision occurred, which resulted in quite a few 'ooooo's' from the bystanders.
I expect Ramesh is plotting his revenge for next year as I write this........
I should point out that uncouth radio controlled weapon sank to the bottom of the pool after the 'collision' and had to be recovered with a fishing net, whilst the Typhoon carried on its merry way....
