Rudder and stern plane horns / linkages

I have noticed that some people use individual horns and push rods on stern planes and or rudders. I prefer U type yokes / horns connecting the planes Left and right together / upper and lower rudders together, and having just one push rod for planes and one for rudders. For those who have individual horns and push rods per planes and rudders, I was wondering how people then link the two push rods together for one connection to the WTC?

Another way is to wrap some tinned wire around the two linkages and solder them.
