          Got my Dad the Turnigy version of this camera. It's a good piece of kit, although the lens is very wide angle, so you get quite lot of barrel distortion, no worse than a go pro however.

          Go pro have raised the game by going 4k, but the extra resolution comes at a significant price premium. 2k is fine however unless you have an enormous telly.

          If you eventually plan to put it on a sub, then bear in mind it will drag it right out of the water unless it's a big boat. Best way would be to put a streamlined tail on it, and tow it behind. The footage looks more interesting that way too.
