Y-tail on Seaview

Is it possible to utilize the cadillac fins on the seaview as control planes akin to an X-tail boat but still use the single ventral rudder hence a Y-tail? I've seen videos and photos of Japanese Aquaracers using this set-up and they seem quite manuverable.

Sure. But doing so would kill the scale Fidelity of the subject.

On the same subject, scale fidelity and boat performance, did the Seaview have functional bow planes or is that a deviation from scale fidelity to achieve better functional control?
The Seaview is one strange boat....DON'T use the bow and stern planes in unison (unless it's the SEAVIEW).Last edited by junglelord; 02-22-2009, 01:31 PM.Comment

Most the miniatures represented bow planes by engraved lines. None were practical.
