The Kehrer hulls were about 300-400 euros I think (going from memory). Someone a bit savvy could have one of those in the water for about 150 euros more. This is assuming you build your own ballast system and internal bits and bobs.

The Engel boats are always pricey, especially when you start going for the kits with all the bells and whistles. Twin tanks bump things up a bit too. The basic kit is a lot less, and as you guys don't have to pay the dreaded VAT you can knock 19% off the prices shown, shipping will bump it back it back up a bit though.

In a nutshell a Kehrer boat, if you can find one, will cost you about a third (or perhaps less) of the cost of the Engel kit, but you have to do a bit more work yourself.
