Mike is soon to release a GRP kit of the big gun toting, SURCOUF. He's put me onto the task to produce the control surfaces and propellers for the beast. Here's the initial work:

How about putting some square shafts in those planes? Might make
alignment easier and grub screws holding position better.
I have an idea...film at eleven.

I was thinking about ease of assembly and adjustment.
1)The thought process is to put the yoke in. Yoke holds shafts in alignment with the square tube.
2) slide the shafts in and put a pin through with a little RTV to secure pins
3) slide the planes over the square shafts and attach with RTV
To remove vane pull the pin and slide out the square shaft.
If the vane needs adjustment the rtv may allow some rotation on the shaft or the ability to twist it off and reattach.
Vanes could be unmounted to prevent shipping damage.
