Hello

Can any one here tell me what product is available to thin epoxy so I could paint it on a wooden surface? Not thinned to a water consistency but not too far off. I want to use it to seal the wood of a surface craft without using fiberglass cloth. What do I have to deal with if using this thinner?
It would help it was a brand that is available here in Canada as well.

Not sure what's available in Canada but I would think that an epoxy thinner would be what you need. I would think that any good hardware or paint store would have something. Be careful how much thinner you add though and add the thinner after mixing the base and catalyst.

Try a high quality lacquer thinner and/or MEK. But only in very small quantities. Experiment first -- see that the thinned resin can assume a full cure before committing the goo to a model.
