Is the Caswell Shipping Calculator working ok for Canada calculations

Hello

Not sure if it is o.k to ask this here BUT I just attempted to place an order at the Caswell website for submarine parts; bearing, push rod seals, shaft seals, dog bone, coupler both ends and stainless shaft. The shipping calculator gave me a price choice, the cheapest one for Canada L8V-1T6, was almost the price of these parts. Wow? I have not ordered from here before so I don`t know if this is the normal rate.

Can anyone let me know if about $22.00 U.S for S&H is about right?

Hello Again

I don`t want to come across as an A__ H___ is it my not understanding the costs from the U.S Postal Service for shipping this to me here in Canada or are there extra charges in the figure I was told for shipping these small parts to me by the company for their time to package the parts etc.? For the price of shipping is almost the price of the parts themselves.

I want to go out a limb and ask, is there anyone on the Niagara Canada U.S Border who is willing to let me use their home address as a shipping address and then meet me so I can get the items? Please PM with your info.
