Duh! (smacking forehead), that is something i should have mentioned! The DVDs are worth getting. There are tips in there that alone are worth purchasing the DVD alone. If you read my Gato build I think I mention it enough times, buy the DVDs.If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.Comment

I have the dvd's. The fitting kit for the retract is not the same as in the dvd's.Comment

Yes, it taps off of your main battery power. Then the regulated voltage is used for the other devices (like RX)
