                  I searched on Galen Kaden designs and found a lot of computer designs on starships (Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica) so I would doubt real, but it is a very nice design.
                  If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
