The drone warfare in Ukraine are a high-tech evolution of "asymmetric" naval tactics pioneered in WWII.

The Sea Baby functions almost exactly like the Japanese Shinyo suicide boats of WWII. Small, high-speed motorboats packed with explosives designed to ram and sink much larger warships.

Sub Sea Baby mirrors the "midget submarine" tactics used by British X-crafts and Italian Maiale to strike ships in protected harbors.

From the available footage and post-strike OSINT overhead imagery, it appears the drone exploded between the stern and the pier. The damage to the pier is extensive. If true, it's likely the screw and shaft seals have been damaged. This base can't support drydocking at this time. It will be a few more days until it's determined if any boat swaps are done to hide any potential damage.

One thing needs no confirmation: The topside watch needed a fresh pair of underwear.
