    A good reason for it!

Most submariners are happy to keep a submarine hull between them and some of the creatures out there. Ill post a few and maybe you guys can post a few.

yeah poor sharks - my arse...
since the green movement here in Commie Australia said GW were endangered and ended fishing of them -their numbers in the Great Southern Ocean, Coral Sea, Tasman Sea have reached record levels in only a few years. Every other week we have some poor schmuck cut in half with a twisted torso about the only thing left. People are taken just cooling off in the shallows. Screw em.
I had 5 hours in the fighting chair off Fiji a few years back did not land the ******* who cut me off. The locals love them. They don't waste a bit feeding their families and communities and they earn cash from folks like me. Its a win win and they definitely ARE NOT over fished.

                    Thousands dieing every day!

The majority of sharks are harmless to humans. Great whites, tigers and bulls are a bit of an exception, and yes Australia (and South africa ) have more than their fair share. But you dont go sunbathing in a lion enclosure, so why go swimming in an area where these predators are known to inhabit! I see WA has a problem right now, i was on Rottnest a few months back, but i wasnt going in the water, its just a prime area for Big sharks. nice cold water and seals, hmmm.

                          Great photo Albion.
That island is known for it's Thresher sharks and Manta rays.

You should try Coron Palawan next time. Lots of Japanese wrecks you can dive down to.
