    Did my first exhibiton...

After Grandmaster Dave repeatedly told me to share my stuff and to not only produce models for my living room, I finally applied for my first exhibition and showed the Type XXIII with interior and the midget subs Molch and Hecht, (again with interior) at the third international model ship exhibition in the International Maritime Museum in Hamburg (https://www.imm-hamburg.de/). All in all a very goof experience. Got very good feedback from excellent and renown German ship model builders and from the museum historian, latter praising the uniqueness and the high level of the internal detailing of the models, which is unmatched in the museum. Good experience....might happen again.

Thanks Dave for giving me the gentle push.

    Cheers Andreas

That XXIII is a work of art. Congrats on a successful exhibition.

        Well done!!

The learning never ends, and feedback from others is essential to improvement, though I doubt your work could be improved significantly.

IPMS (with world-wide chapters) accepts 3D printed models for competition now.
