Brand New / Beginner questions - any help is appreciated

I'm super new to this Hobby (like 2 days in), so please forgive the stupidity of some of my initial questions.
But, are there certain "optimal" vendors for supplies that I should leverage as I get going? or vendors I should avoid for supplies? (I'm US based)

There are good and bad vendors. I'm not going to bad-mouth the bad ones here. However, on this side of the globe your best bet is Nautilus Drydocks. Period. End of line. Look no farther.

Repeat your request at the other boating forums and develop a better, well balanced 'feel' for who to trust and not trust in this game.

I will second Nautilus Drydocks. Keep us informed of what you are looking for and you will save time and $$$$ getting you pointed in the correct direction. It does take a bit of humility getting into this hobby but there are a TON of resources to help you on this forum.

          Thank you

all three, for your thoughts and advice. I just thought I would check first... because there were huge differences and you could waste a lot of time/money going with the wrong suppliers.
