In this next set of pictures I have replaced the deck grill located towards the stern with a 3D printed replacement. Once again, the deck was sanded clean of all surface details with a finishing sander before adding the rivets and grill. The before and after pictures tell the story better than I can. Next, I am going to flip the sub over so that I can start working the starboard side. Fortunately, there is not as much damage towards the stern as there was on the port side.
The last picture shows my progress as I move towards the wheelhouse. The embedded deck grates are going to be a challenge.
