    Peace,
    Tom
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Maybe it's one of these colors so ask the misses if she has the color. :)

Yellow Ochre may be the ticket. Thank you. Scott, those are more brown-ish. Thank you for the tips!

Use a yellow Ochre mentioned above, or a flat medium brown with a few drops of a mustard color in the mix and mix thoroughly. The rest of mast sensor a grimy or engine (darker) black. The hull markings use a medium grey not a white . The white will stand out visually too loud against the dark hull. Same rationale as a portrait painting. You never see white eye balls. If you do the eyes would stare back at you or follow you aroud the room. Works great in Warner Bro cartoons , but its really means a lousy portrait artist...lol. Same visuals holds true for your model..

Side note, the Russians subs interiors always use that ****ty looking mustard color. Their Navy psychological color tests - how color effect the crew came up with different conclusions I guess. Probably the 'political officer' had some say in that. Or as Tom Clancy used to say - "'Political officer' - in the Russian/Soviet navy - a Navy Chaplain for Atheist's lol". .
