Another Moebius flying sub RC Conversion....but different.
Thanks. The FS-1's shape seems to make it want to dive or pitch down as its speed increases. You can sort of see when my model is on the surface it is actually pitched back (stern low) just a little. I moved that lead ballast around until I found a good balance between going straight and diving. If you hold the forward button down it will dive as it speeds up. If you pulse the throttles you can very easily maintain a fairly constant depth. And of course if you hit the boost button it will rapidly dive or do that loop trick if you keep holding.
I didn't really show it in the video but if you push reverse it will very quickly pitch back (stern down) and you can then hit forward or boost to get it to the surface very rapidly. If you time it right it will leap almost out of the water.
Subculture: Very keen eye you have. Yes, that is a Messerschmitt (actually there are two) and I'm amazed you spotted the Heinkel. I love microcars (I have way too many hobbies).
Redboat: I do think the two motor control scheme could be adapted to almost anything but the main point of it is to keep it simple and very small. That amazing Star Wars A wing in the video you posted looks a lot larger and of course with only two motor on/off control it's never going to be that capable.
Now wait a second. To hell with the Flying Sub, what in the world is that place? A man cave or Bat Cave? Who’s is it? I want to see more.
That is my garage. I wasn't trying to show off, just thought it would add interest to my video. I'm not a wealthy person, just a schmuck that has lots of hobbies and has collected things my entire life. I made that secret room and tunnel that I crawled through just a year or so ago, it's not really the only way into my workshop, that was a joke.

Jason
I still want to see more. The game machines are great.
Of the approximately 40,000 men who served on U-boats in WWII, it is estimated that around 28,000 to 30,000 lost their lives.
