    Shift from Gas to Electric

I notice that a majority to ballast system being used nowadays are gasless, most use a electric pump to, fill and empty either a rigid tank ( vented or sealed) or a bag/ bladder, or suck in air through an induction pipe ( snort/ snorkel). I remember David mentioning that if you boat goes deep gas is the only means of bringing it back up.
Make it simple, make strong, make it work!

I am trying gas only on my THRESHER. It simplified the setup quite a bit. No air pump. No snorkel. Replaced the ballast control module with a Picco Switch. Shouldn't cost much to operate.
