    Ssbn659 departing holy loch

Been awhile since I've posted but I'm looking for a good photo of USS Will Rogers departing Holy Loch to go with my model. The resolution of the one I have is not that great. I would greatly appreciate any help.

Gantu NEVER fails to come through with the goods. I have a substantial collection, but many of his recent pictures are new to me. Wow!

Nice model. Where did that beauty come from?

I built that model late 2000 something and posted here in one of the Builder Competitions. You judged that competition and dinged me on the sail. Look for "Modeling the Last of the Forty-one for Freedom" if the post is still around. I could't find it. It was my last display model. Haven't built anything since a Victor III and a Kilo, both for RC but those are long gone and this is the only model I have left.

                  Here you go: https://forum.rc-sub.com/forum/build...ne-for-freedom
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Thanks Tom, I read the whole post over again and boy did that bring back some memories I has forgotten.

Will Rogers said: " I can remember way back when a liberal was generous with HIS money".
Of the 40,000 men who served on German submarines, 30,000 never returned.”
