Hoever, the clarity of the on you posted is fantastic! Do you have more in your stash of magazines?

Not of that particular picture. I found it somewhere thru the Google search engine. No way I could remember where it is from. I usually dont pay attention to that. I look at the picture and if its large enough and clear enough.....I save it. If I do come across a large stash of pictures, Ill save it to my favorites or save every picture that they have if its decent.

Type 23 pics are hard to come by, especially clear ones.

Not many pictures took of the XXIII, propaganda machine was not a factor after 44 so no set shots were being made. Especially around the shipyards due to the Alied bombings, besides the fact only 60 of them built, 40 one were destroyed at the dockyard and less than a dozen deployed. U 2363 being the boat most photographed for the DKM records, U 2365 coming out of The pens.

Yes it is,I know, the artist used the Lorient pens as a backdrop, and they were overtaken by the Alies, June 44, no type XXIIIs deployed from there

Russians got a few of all the goodies left in Kiel shipyards, a bunch of XXIs and some XXIIIs and zeehund minis they didn't want any old diesel electrics.
