    5000mAh 3.7v Li-ion batteries

Has anyone used 3.7v Li-ion batteries like the ones listed below?

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/5000mAh-Rec...ibZ05bd9-xfgKA

The density seems to be great on these and I can fit them in my Gato for longer runs, maybe?

A lot of these cheap 18650 cells have inflated specs. Most good quality cells of this size tend to offer capacities of around 3-3.5Ahr. If they do genuinely offer 5Ahr capacity, the current delivery is likely to be modest, as the cells plates will have to be very close together. This may alsol adversely impact the cells longevity and cycle life.

18650 cells are the excellent for powering subs, but make sure you buy the right cell from a reputable source- there are a lot of counterfeited cells out there.

This is a good 18650 cell, High C rating with decent capacity. I can't recommend a good US supplier, but I'm sure they're out there- https://eu.nkon.nl/rechargeable/1865...18650vtc6.html
