Man! That's about 26-inches in length. Perfect companion to the 1/144 Trumpeter KILO I've been operating for over five years. When will this thing be available, Peter?

The link says December 2017 but it is still listed as future release on the Hannants website this side of the pond. At just under 4" beam that thing is wider than the Seawolf !

      Watch that space I suppose.....

I'll be on the lookout, Pete. Thanks for the heads up.

On a side-note: I'm starting to fall in love with the blatant ugliness of the modern UK submarines. Did a 1/100 VANGUARD, but had to hold my nose; currently working on a 1/96 TRENCHANT, but can stand the smell now; and with this new 1/144 kit you've identified, those boats are starting to take on the fragrance of a rose. Love their pump-jet design!

David, I do not know why, but the Trenchant has bubbled up to the desire mode. There were some people on FB building a new model (Ron Perrot is involved I think) in the U.K., but I have not seen anything new from there (haven't looked either recently). The usual pattern I have seen on the Trenchant is with the blue paint job that lasted but a gnat's life on the sub's history. Still, like you, they have grown on me.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

I agree with you that the blue pattern was just a brief test. However, I'm going with it for visibility. Makes it distinctive and easy to see. That's the scheme I'm going with.

Ron P, Steve Pryce etc. aren't patterning a Trafalgar class, they're doing a Resolution bomber boat. Other versions of the Trafalgar class are the Sheerline and OTW boats, with a few injection moulded jobs at smaller scales.

Would the 2" SD for the 1/144 Seawolf be able to support her?

Thanks Andy, do not want to start any rumors!
