    Thresher/Permit class large sail plans

    Hello people,
I am currently building a Permit class sub in 1:350 scale.
I want to build the USS Greenling and the Greenling had the large sail.
My kit only has the small sail and I could not find any plans or drawings that I could use to extend the sail.
I hope you guys don't mid helping out a plastic pleb that only builds static kits.

    KInd regards,

I have good drawings of the GATO (PERMIT/THRESHER class). Is that the sail you need? There were several variants.

              Hey David,
              That is aweseome!
But I have to lenghetn the existing sail by quite a lot. Let's see how that'll turn out.
If I got it right I will post the pictures here.

              Thank you very much,

If you get it wrong .... POST IT HERE! Damit. How you gonna learn if you keep your homework away from me.

Start with a new sail -- scratch-build time. You want a hunk of RenShape to get started?

                Here's how:

                  That's a quite impresive sail.
I still have to lenghten the hull, that's about 8mm in 1:350 scale. Maybe you could explain me how I can scale the plans up to my scale, I never did that before.

                  Cheers,

Divide the denominators. The resulting whole (or fraction) number is the ratio of conversion. Express that as a fraction and you have the enlargement/reduction amount between plans.
