    Cricut!

    I just came across this neat little machine that cuts patterns in a number of materials.


    I'm not quite sure how it gets from a drawing or photo to be able to cut out the shapes, but if it could be used to cut vinyl or aluminum foil, I can see where this would make the ideal stencil for doing brass frets.

    Has anyone seen this little gadget before?

    That is so slick! I'm sure it will cut adhesive backed aluminum foil and .005" thick plastic sheet. Stencils, parts, markings, PE masks, etc. ....

        Maybe the era of scribing detail onto GRP hulls is over. If only someone could could up with the templates?

          Looks very easy and affordable compared to maybe, the Roland cutters. Can see it for templates or to stick on details like you said.
