    Trumpeter U boot 1/48

    Hi everyone,
I am building this marvellous (at least..) U-Boot and more precisely the front officer's compartment. Question : Which wooden species were used for bulkheads ? Can somebody enlighten me ?
    Thanks to every body.

Teak - the boat builders first choice; followed by Huon Pine (if you could find it) followed by all the other **** that gets used when you can't get Teak or Huon Pine. Kawrie Pine, Crown Ash, Baltic Pine etc etc.

Spoiler alert this is a joke.

Don't forget all the wood for the stair to the conning tower.
