    Georgia Regatta

I know a lot of you don’t like to post here, or answer here, or be noticed, but how many of you are coming to the Georgia Subfest?A yes, or no will suffice.
Of the approximately 40,000 men who served on U-boats in WWII, it is estimated that around 28,000 to 30,000 lost their lives.

Yup. Me and Jake. (Only one week after the Groton event -- poor coordination between the two event organizers! Let's do a better job next year, guys).
    Who is John Galt?

      Yes - hopefully Groton too!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Not on my side. The venue at Red Clay has two windows, the week before they open in May or the week after they close in Sept. That's it. Take it or leave it.

In my case it will hopefully work out better having them a week apart.

Well I’m coming, and I’m setting up a ham radio station. I’m camping out for two nights. Maybe we can talk to Europe and other places overseas. If anyone would like to try, maybe we have a couple more nerds like me.
