To be slightly more specific, you have 6 and 3/8" inches of available space in the battery compartment. This info is based off of measuring my new SAS 3.5" cylinder that I recently received.
IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!
Bruce I run a wolfpack 7.2 4200ma Nimh dialed the throttle epa to 58 and I get more than plenty play time with my Skipjack. So a 6800 will give you hours plus of dive time. My experience is that a big battery like that means your weight to get level will be aft of cog. But I needed to add a bit of weight to my sd to get it to float level in the tub. So maybe the battery pack you have will negat that...

The pump used for SAS is rated for 12v. Running it at 7.4 v will make it run slower, yes? What does the difference in voltage equal out to difference in bringing up the sub time wise?
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
I run all my subs on 7.2 and the LPB pump I find works well on this voltage.

You would not steal a wallet so don't steal people's livelihood.
Think of that before your buy "cheap" pirated goods or download others work protected by copyright. Theft is theft.
I believe it does run fine on 7.2v. I am just wondering the difference the 11v would make. There would be a performance difference, and I am wondering what that would be.

Had I thought last night while watching F1 qualifying on TV!! Is anyone (Dave.....) going to do a hull insert kit for a George Washington class SSBN???
LOL Just poking the bear!! I'm sure there R experienced modellers out there already contemplating such a conversion!!
I am looking fwd to having my Skipjack in the water...hopefully having a crack at hunting my mate Rob's (From way over in Perth) giant 1/72 Typhoon at next year's annual regatta in Narracoorte (if he brings her over with his Kirov 'Peter the Great')
I think this was taken a few years back Not sure if its Rob's Typhoon there are 3 or 4 of em' getting about around Oz!! At 2.4m long these monsters are as long as Ticonderoga class cruiser and much wider!! I'm sure Slats will know who's Sub this is??
