    Availability of 1/96 Skipjack

    Sirs,

I see from the Caswell site that the 1/96 Skipjack is "out of stock". Are there any plans to build more of these kits?

Hell yes! I'm currently re-tooling the GRP hull and GRP parts as well -- this will make for a cheaper to produce, easier to assembly kit. The SKIPJACK is the best running r/c submarine I've ever had the pleasure to drive. It would be the height of stupidity not to continue the availability of this product.

      David,

I look forward to the day I can build - no wait I meant assemble, I meant assemble - one.

Dave I bought your 3" sub driver some years ago and I assume it will work well with the new retooled Skipjack?
          Thanks

Yes it will. The WTC-3 was specifically designed for the 1/96 SKIPJACK.

Are you going to offer saddles for the new two inch drivers as well (like you did in the D&E Type-212)? I suspect either driver would give sufficient performance...
