    Moebius RC Seaview

    Hello:
Was wondering if anyone out there has the linkage measurements and all bend angles for all the linkages for seaview? The linkage for bow planes/rear planes look like a nightmare. Need the measurement for the drive shaft also.
I have the seaview how to build video, but does show to much on linkages as far as what I asked here.
    Thanks for any help
    Stan

    Stan,

Sorry about the delay. Below I've laid out how the linkages are arranged within the SEAVIEW:

(just took the measurements off one of the two bow plane-stern plane pushrods)

Thats a neat coupling your using to tie the bow and stern planes. I was going to solder small collars together to make one.

Yeah, the pushrod coupler I made makes individual adjustment of the four (2-stern plane, 2-bow plane) control surfaces easy and sure. But, you can get away with a 3/16"i.d. wheel-collar to gang the three wires together.

            Hi Dave
The rust evedent on the klickons , is that a result of chlorinated water?
            Does it affect the magnets?
            Rick

That's good old Iron oxide, Rick. Though the magnets are Chrome plated (I assume its Chrome), if they get nicked the Iron quickly oxidizes and you get rust. No big deal ... call it, 'weathering'.

Please sell us your 3 Push Rod Connector fitting?

                David,

Ever thought of adding the pushrod coupler you made for the Seaview to the SEAVIEW's Fittings Kit (or sold seperately)? As you stated "dividual adjustment of the four (2-stern plane, 2-bow plane) control surfaces" makes it easy to account for slippage over time of the three different pushrods.

                Sincerely,

                Dave McWhite

Yes, but dropped the idea as it increased the coast of the fittings kit. So I let the end-user figure that one out. A 3/16" wheel-collar will get the job done.

                    Slip marks

I'm going to try to paint or mark (with permanent ink, good old sharpie) slip marks on the linkages next to the linkage collar. This way you should be able to tell if a linkage or linkages have slip from collar. I will let everyone know later if this holds true.

                      3-way bow/stern coupler

                      Hi Dave:
Can I purchase that neat 3-way bow/stern linkage coupler yet?
The collar coupler works, but what a pain. I need and desire the indivial bow plane ajustment it affords. Seems like you adjust one bow plane and the the other side falls out adjustement. Cannot get that neautral setting of the bow planes with the collar it seems.
Please, please I hope I can purchase the 3-way now or real soon.
                      Thanks
                      Stan

I think his pink underwear must be too tight! He's grumpy! (He has to wear them for swearing on this forum!)
