Thank you Mike, my Sombra Labs SL-8 Arrived!
David, anything come out of the talks with Kevin? What does the future look like for RXs in our frequencies?
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

We're finalizing a few things, but the future is extremely bright. Stand by for a statement from HWSNBN.

Heck, why dont we get Kevin to make the next generation synthesized receiver? Im sure that hes already been thinking about it.

Or do you need some kinda license for that? We dont want the SWAT team or the Navy SEALS pulling up to his house and sending the Dogs in first.

Yes Mark, Kevin has thought about it many times, but then reality always sets in. RF is a different animal from what I'm used to dealing with, and designing the decoder is a science in itself. No license is required to design/test a receiver, but that kind of thing would be a long-term project.

I've mentioned this before. There is the Pulsestar- http://mstar2k.com/index.php?option=...d=35&Itemid=12

This is a DIY receiver, but I dare say something could be done to get them batch produced in modest quantities. The spec is excellent. It's designed for 72 and 50mhz operation, but I dare say it can be pushed to 75mhz. The design is mature, so should provide a bug free experience.

Don't worry about these receivers. It's in hand and we'll soon make a statement!

How soon? Soon is relative. In a day? week? month? never mind it will happen when it happens soon?

                    Hi guys,

I need a receiver for my skipjack. I have purchased the Graupner radio which is a 40MHz FM unit. What are my options?

                    Any advice appreciated.

                    Cheers

                      Mike,

I am hoping that the announcement, when it comes, will have the possibility of being used on 50 MHz.
I fully realize that we're the few of the few of the few who use 50 MHz for RC submarines but we do exist.

both fully synthesized, so no crystals needed.

                          Thanks Subculture.

Does a 9 ch receiver work with a 6ch transmitter? I assume you just don't get the last 3 channels.
