The following pictures are of a ROV that will be used to compete at the Marine Advanced Technology Competition (MATE) in Hawaii this summer.

Last year, I lead the Embry Riddle Team at this competition held in Buzzards Bay Massachusetts.
The following link are technical reports of the competing teams. Very detailed info that is a good read for any RC sub fanatic.

I have attached photos of this years robot.

    Eduardo,

Thank you so much for sharing your work -- some innovative stuff.

And the rest of you guys: The link he has provided us is a presentation of the many technical reports submitted by other contest entrants. Very, very good reading and there is stuff in there that is relevant to much of our own work. I've already picked up a few pointers. And it's refreshing to see the 'scientific method' still advocated by the schools and practiced by practical physicists, experimentalists, and engineers in training.

Nothing wrong with shop order, thoughtful methodology, good design, and clarity of purpose. And the Reports presented has this stuff in gobs! Damn good reading.

Sure a lot of entries. Which one would you recommend we read?

Hope they're multiple choice, I hate essays.
