    Los Angeles class

Hi everybody, this is my first one all made from scrutch using GRP for the hull and polyurethane epoxy for the vanes, periscopes, etc. She is 1.33m in length and 0.12m beam. For ballast I use a flexible tank with a water pump and a Mabuchi 550 with 2.3:1 gearbox for propulsion. All up weight is 4.5kg( 5kg submerged).

You did well for a first timer. Is it also 1/48 scale? How does she handle?
Make it simple, make strong, make it work!

Hi greenman407, she is 52" long! I'm sorry to say that I don't have any pictures of the inards and I can't take any new ones as I don't own it any more! I will try to get in touch with the fellow who owns it! But if it is of any help, she has the same lay-up with the 214!
