    Thanks Men. Looks like this thing extends quite a bit further than my plans show. There also appears to be a flap below the main hinge point that opens outward (which would make a lot of sense since that hinge is a complete *******).

    Not many out there of Cod Eye and I can not find any of the thing up whilst under way. If you need one of the top of the door I have one but..... I thought I had more......I am going off for another look.....

    Hoping this is the Akula planes video. If not then I haven't mastered my new phone .

    That's the plan. I'm off to see the nice plastics guy up the road this morning to buy some sheet for the plane doors and the outer torpedo doors. Do you have a link to the Akula video?

    I had thought, after your negating the use of scopes on the Akula due to space constrictions, of making the Bow planes on the Akula retractable. I have found a short video of a working set on You tube obviously they are not flick out ones like on the Oscar but are linear and at a a slight angle, lots of engineering though. Are you going to make shutter doors for them ? (This is a serious question)
