    Skipjack

Just ordered sub-driver and other items needed to build Mobius Skipjack. Will be 1st attemp at a sub. Want to thank all of you in advance all for all the great builds and posts that I have been reading and following over that last year. If mine comes out half as good as the ones I have seen here I will be happy. SSN's foreve!

      Mornin', SonarTech!

Ask lots of questions!! There are a whole poop-load of excellent modelers here
who would be more than happy to help you out! Nothing is "off-limits", as far
      as assistance requests!

The only really dumb questions are the ones that don't get asked!! Ya might
get a "smart-*ss" type response from time to time, but it's all in fun.

      (Amn't that right, M?? Hah!!)

Welcome aboard, bro'! You're definitely in the right place!!

We're neighbors!!!! Come on over and we can trade insults!

Gary's got it wrong. THERE ARE STUPID QUESTIONS. I dare any one to ask one and find out what happens!

Welcome! You made a great choice, not only for a first sub, but also as a system to allow your creation to dive and come up again. The sub-driver is a well crafted WTC (water tight container). Post lots of pictures and ask questions. Glad you joined this crazy group!
              Peace,
              tom
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

After way too long of a delay, I have finally started my skipjack, (year and 1/2 later) Progress will be slow but I am learning and again have reread the many fine builds on here and hope I can do almost as well. Currently filing out MBT grates.

Welcome back. Nobody said you had to win the race, all we ask is that you finish it. Good to hear you are back at it. We are here if you get stumped. Oh and take pictures!
