    My red devil u552

Tried to post picts and commets about the sub but failed.
    Here I go again:

1- Internals: Rear compartiment struturally made. With drive motors, ESC, rear servos and water pump. Ballast tamk in the middle and fore compartment for 7,2 V/ 2200 mAmp LiPo battery, fore planes servos and on / off switch.
2- Extremely sensible to rear planes. No APC, so have to be very careful to avoid porpoising.
3- Levelling problems when diving due to air trapped astern.
4- Lower waterline after first dive.
5- Deck attached to the hull with srews camouflages in the bitts.
6- Extremely nice ship when sailing surfaced as well as dived.
Could only take one picture at sea cause went to the pond alone.
Beg your indulgency with final results quality of my job.

Reddevil what do you mean by "rear compartment structually made".

Can you post photos of your wtc and internal layout.

      Nice boat btw.

I mean that it's a compartment fixed to the hull, with bulkheads and upper beams fitted to the hull. Sorry but have no pictures of the internals.

Looking good! Not a half-bad weathering job on display there.

If I were a merchant ship, I would be worried.
IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!

No begging necessary, this is a really good looking sub. Well done.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

This is how I worked the deck to have all the slots open.Click image for larger version

                  Superb job!!!

How did you open up all the slats, how long did it take? Did it relieve the trapped air- the slots are narrow...

Well, it took time to open those slats of course. Don't remember excatly how much but a copule of days sure. I did it with my DREMEL and a lot of care and patience. Air seems to escape quiet well through them, but rear part tends to do it slower cause slats are narrower there.
