Went out to test this today and as soon as I put it in the water it was plain to see it was dipping way to much at the front, But I thought what the hell. Obviously I will be making some adjustments and go again next week :)

At the moment it is, but my main concern is how it goes on the surface. I just tested the jets in the bath and was a bit peeved to see water spouting out of the join between the the impeller housing and the stator housing (Graupner jets) the plastic has cracked in places so I have dismantled them and used UHU Por when re assembling them. I have left them to dry overnight, Ill try again in the bath tomorrow and see how it goes. After having hooked up the nozzles I found them to be totally useless. Way to short, so they will need a central vane at least before they have any effect.

Made up the nozzle parts, they are removable for display. I may have to add a central vane as they are really short...... To be honest I hate having them there so if it turns well enough without them, then there coming off. :)

Well here it is again, This time with the new nose and all plumbed up water jets, Might take it out on Sunday to give it a test run. I will be adding vectoring nozzels on the jets to assist steering.

Painting done, not the best but then I hate doing figures (I'm no good at it) Anyway, couple of pics in situ. Well thats it for Sky1, unless I think of anything else. On to the Diver and jet install.
