Man! ... Mamas is ****ing me off! When the smoke clears, the only work I'll be doing on the interior are the figures.
Honestly, Mamas, I stand in awe of your work. Simply ... WOW!

OMG! You're killing me...
So let me get this right. You are doing the sub for rc & static, HWSNBN is doing the subdriver and interior, the latter which you can swap out for when you want to go rc...? STRUTH I just have to have one of these!!!!Leave a comment:

We are adding details to the store for all international (outside UK) orders. Box weight is approx 2.6 kilo's as a guide, dimensions are 800mm long 270mm square, shipping price will be confirmed ASAP. The Rotor / Eddy Damper / Rate Master will be able to be motorised in a dry static model state however to get the best from this model I highly recommend using the Sub Driver unit currently in development. This will add a whole other level to the satisfaction of owning this model
David is working up a suitable power unit (Sub Driver) at the moment, the model will be using water jet propulsion. If I understand what David has described he is designing a really clever unit for this model that will discharge the water from the flooded internal volume to mimic the freeboard displacement seen in the show more accurately, dry decks AND mostly dry sides. This is quite a challenge technically but I know it will be more or less a quality "plug and play" module in it's design, so installation should be straight forward. There will be plenty of build information to follow along and good people to ask for any technical support needed. David is also working up an interior kit for super detailing and making into a great display model.
I guess if you been following this thread and the updates on ETF then you know all this already, I am including this brief synopsis so all the new folks that I am sending in this direction can recap quickly.

As of today this is were I am with it. I have made up a cabin floor and tried to reconcile it with the full size set. I have made it removeable so as when Its in the water I can replace the windows for smoked ones. Just need to sort out a method of fixing the cabin on now. The Ratemaster has been sanded and re polished to a level that I like. The way they come out of the mould they are way to clear and as I have all the equipment in there I like the way the gear is not so visable. Also in todays post a little peek at Mrs RCnuts Terrorfish progress.Last edited by RCnut; 08-18-2012, 04:55 PM.Leave a comment:
