    British H-class (Holland Type 602):

    A while ago I was very interest in Holland-type boats. So I went on a hunt for good plans (e.g. US S-class) but it was hard to obtain something useful until I wrote a mail to the Roayal Maritime Museum in London. There I could obtain really high quality scans of a group 3 h-class submarine (HMS H-51). I forgot about them for a few years but now with Corona, lock down and boredom, I rediscovered them and started making CAD models. This is where I'm at:

    Any experiences with Holland type boats? Moulds seem to be tricky because of the unusual stern design, and the high freeboard also seems tough to handle.

    Looking forward to following your progress with the H-class CAD model.

    I guess you may already be aware of some of the background information on the H-Class in the BR3034 HM submarines 1901-1930 online at the following link;

    Also Norman Friedman's book British submarines in Two World Wars has a few photo's and background information.

      Yes, I stumbled across this page. There are a few pictures around but they comparatively rare with respect to the 52 boats that were built.
