    Bronco Type 23 begins

I started working on it Saturday while waiting on packages to arrive at the studio. I Z cut the top of the deck off this plastic model kit about to be converted to RC. Not easy. Razor saw and a steady hand. Painters tape was my guide.

The acrylic tubing fits perfect and is easy to get in and out. I'll start using the lathe to make up some end cap masters to mold and make in resin.

The brass prop I ordered to replace the plastic prop that comes with the kit is beautiful.

What type of ballast system will you be using Steve?
Make it simple, make strong, make it work!

RCABS. It will give me plenty of free board on this model. I have had good success with them in the past and they are easy to set up.
