New Galathée Sub - ADX Models (France)

Hello Guys, and sorry for my English

It's always an emotional moment, opening a big box containing a model kit of submarine RC :)
But this time the symbolic dimension is there because it is the first model sold by Aurélien DOUX since the end of the company Lecma!

We were fortunate to discover a few days ago the range of our 2011 National craftsman and now includes a model as iconic as the Galatée;)

New topic devoted to assembly of the first submarine ADX Galatée, "a first then, is only ScaleSub!

The purpose of this subject is also to demonstrate that the Galatée is a model that can be mounted on a corner office with minimal equipment and in a relatively short time.
We'll see, by spending 1 hour a day to assemble the submarine, how long it will take to finish it :D

The contents of the box is always full, in fact, pump, motor, battery, cables and other linkages are present. The manual is detailed and makes assembly step of the model, note in passing that it is now stamped with the logo ADX Models :)

Well it was too tempting, so tonight I set up the main rack. Children's play and above all a pleasure to assemble, it must be said that the ultra fine cutting CNC provides exceptional precision.

Parts are detached from the main plate, they are deburred and sanded.

I always admired this model, especially when I first discovered it via one for sale, complete with all working lights.

        Very nice sub!!

Its a great looking sub Laurent, do you know if you can buy this as a kit without the internal water tight cylinder?
          Thanks

            Hello John

No, it's impossible to buy the kit without the WTC because the submarine is built around the WTC.

                  Hi David,

Sure it's not a pretty hull .
But it is a small model easy to carry and perfect for putting a small camera.

I think it looks cool, in an robot-machine sorty way like all research subs. But yes not "pretty"

This thing needs some mean, working manip arms.
