    1/72 Foxtrot

Here is the start of the 1/72 Foxtrot. Also started work on the 1/72 Charlie II. Plans are from Boris Volkov. Charlie plans are for a Charlie I. I will make add the extra length in the hull for a Charlie II. Going to cut foam today for the Foxtrot hull.

Dave here we go again. Looks like you and me are the only ones interested in this boat. Maybe I will have to show less interest in it.

            Keep posting, Tim.

These drones are watching. They can't help themselves. The silence is because they are so flabbergasted at our combined talent, charm, good looks and over-all superiority over the thundering herd; they are speechless. However, just as soon as they catch their collective breath they will fall all over themselves heaping praise and warship in our general direction.

            Charm mode: OFF

Let's hope so. Getting ready to sell off all my remaining airplane stuff. Had it with the airplane prima donnas. Have to thin out all remaining models as I am not going to have much time or desire to build anymore. It's a old thing.

                I'm with you there, Tim.

R/c pilots, the so-called 'experts', are like Nazi's: individually you can talk to them and sometimes even reason with them. But get these prima donna's in a structured group (club flying field) it's like France, June 1940: Getting caught up in that little slice of hell, you find yourself standing behind the flight line hoping some pin-hog will give up your channel long enough for you to get some air-time. And for that you get to give up your weekdays to help 'maintain' the field. **** that!

So, that's why I gravitated to the rairafied air of r/c submarining. Here I can be the flight-line Nazi and pumble people until my arms get tired. It's good to be the King!

Far better to rule in hell, than serve in heaven.

Hell yes! Guy's like you and Gantu make it possible for guys like me and Tim to, 'get it right the first time'. Our respective model building skills are nothing without good documentation and useful critiques.

                            Fire away. Anytime.
