Yesterday I had a chance to do some sea trials with the little Haddock. Blowing föhn carried fair temperatures but rendered the usual basin unsuitable so I headed to the nearby pond wich was somewhat sheltered from the surrounding trees. Now i must say that get rid of all the bubbles at this scale is a friggin' nightmare and the shallow declining shore made it a nearly impossible task. I had to drag it around with the tip of the service fishing rod! Succeded to achieve a slightly positive balance with about 5° bow up attitude as an insurance, i hitted the turbo button and after a couple of meters down she went. I have to remove the function that shuts down turbo mode when you are using steering channel as it tends to emerge when you steer it around. Whith that bow up attitude was easier to go back till she reach your wished depth and then blip the turbo button to maintain depth and speed. Unfortunately i managed to loose the prop: she detached itself from the motor shaft and gracefully sank before my eyes. I'm rebuilding it, will be better and glued with anaerobic adesive.
