    Marc's Gato build

I first saw Merriman on Youtube with the Gato sub, I was instantly hooked, what a cool working sub. I then got the Gato kit, sub-driver and accesories from Caswell for Christmas. I live in Western Pa. where there are not to many submarine people around here, but everyone who has looked at the outfit has been impressed and want to see the sub in action. I had been working on a tug boat over the winter and just started to build the sub with my son now.
I had started a thread on rcgroups and per a suggestion by Kazzer I will continue here too. At first I didn't think I would enter the contest, but why not. So far we have built the bow, hull, and now are working on the stern with the rudder complete and the rear dive planes to be installed.
Dave I do like the instructional DVDs to build off of. #1 had a scratch in it though and would stop.
