    Video From u/w NAUTILUS Camera

Bob Martin used one of our video camera housings for these pretty neat shots from the deck of his Disney NAUTILUS.

    Seen these?

Add a 1GB micro SD, make up a small waterproof container and presto underwater footage for under $10.

    Nice!

Oh, man! I gotta get one of these! Thanks for the heads-up, Andy!

Mike: We should get some of these, provide a dedicated WTC for it. I think we would make a tidy sum.

It's a pity they didn't make them waterproof from the start. Only downside to sticking them in a casing is accessing the buttons. However, dirt cheap price and tiny.

Actioncams seem to be the benckmark for cheap underwater movies. It's dead easy to use- just pop in a couple of AA's and an SD card, strap it to your boat with the supplied accessories and switch it on (waterproof buttons) and go.

The daddy of waterproof videocams with full 1080P HD (stunning video quality) is the Gopro Hero HD, unfortunately the price is impressive too!

I think it's only a matter of time before a Oregon scientific bring out a HD actioncam. That's not to say there wouldn't be a market for a smaller model, as the actioncams are a bit too big for the smaller boats and upset the handling.

Here's some shots taken this past summer @ the Colorado Crew's regatta in Colo. I borrowed Tim Senecal's O.S. camera and straped it to the back of my 32P type VII. Also some other misc. vids from Tim S. Alvin, Blueback, and some surface ****... Excellent camera if your not looking for live feed. Enjoy, Ted www.vimeo.com/5385902 What you cant say C R A P? Sorry! My bad. T.S.
